Tourist visa for Egypt

When you want to visit Egypt, you need a visa as foreigner. This visa you can apply online (E-ticket) or at arrival in the airport. On show of your passport, you get a stamp, for regular price of 25 EUR. The process of obtaining an Egypt visa on arrival is for all visitors the same, whether for EU passport holders and nationals of other eligible countries. Once granted, the visa on arrival will allow international travelers to stay in Egypt for up to 30 days. The visa on arrival is a single-entry visa.

If you want to come more often, you can apply for a multi entrance visa. Note that you cannot buy it at the airport. You can apply for it after you entered Egypt, and before you leave. It is valid for 6 months. Nowadays you can also buy this online. We advice the Visa Electronic Visa Portal visa2egypt.gov.eg/

When you buy the visa at the airport, it will lose its validation 30 days. You need to buy it again when you re-enter Egypt. This is what we can take care of for you. If you want to extend your stay after 30 days, or want to buy a multiple entree visa. As we know, that in the visa offices they not or hardly speak other then Arabic, and also the visa application rules, change much. We go with you, to translate for you, and that you get the extension what you require.

How to get your visa?

  • Your passport is valid after you leave Egypt, at least one year

  • You are coming from a country that is not in any conflict with Egypt constitution

  • Fill in the form where you stay, and show this to the passport control, if they ask this (print it before you arrive)

  • Your purpose of stay is holiday only

  • When this all is ready, the passport control will stamp your visa and it contains your entree date

  •

Refused entrance

All this is easy and most tourists are able to enter. But it will be a shock, when your visa is refused. In case of rejection, that is where we come in. You can contact us or let us call, and we will come to the airport to mediate for you. There must be funded reasons, why you cannot enter (your passport is overdue, you have a criminal record and detention before, you have non tolerable behavior at arrival, such as violence against the officers, or other arriving passengers, photography of government employees, insulting and discrimination). In some cases this refusal is based on a misunderstanding. In this status we can negotiate for you to get entrance, talk to the officers, and advice you, in the time you need to wait for a flight back to your country....Don't be worried much, we talk here about exceptions and you can enjoy your holiday in Egypt.
