All what we already know about Egypt culture, the ancient times of the Pharaoh, Luxor, Pyramids, we not go repeat here. Egypt culture is signed now by its habitats, the so friendly population, proud of their roots, and for residents a daily smile and good words is always there. That Egypt is no longer a country of desert, camels and Bedouins, proves in the City Star shopping Mall, and many others.

Unfortunetely the people in Egypt live a poor live. The value of the Egyptian pounds, you must compare with our euro, or dollars. Average salary is 2000 till 4000 EGP.

Family roots are very strong. Most families live in the same area, same building and all take care of children and the oldest family members.

In traditional Islam way, the man gathers the income, and the women live in the house. Nowadays the change is more and more, in development of the women. In the cities, you see more and more female employees. Education in Egypt is good qualified, however the changes for a good education and salary is best for the men.

As in Egypt still 40% is Coptic, you will see women not covered, in opposite what the impression you have from Egypt when you live aboard.

In the time you stay here, you will notice lot of holidays, as this is from Islamic traditions, and Christian culture. Most important is the Ramadan period. Most businesses are closed on Fridays, the Muslim holy day, with some also closed on Thursdays. Egyptian Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan and are only allowed to work for six hours each day.
